One tile, three names
The same tile is marble look on our site, marble effect in a UK catalogue and Calacatta in an architect's drawing. This page exists because of that. It sorts our tiles by what they look like, so you can start from a photo or a loose sample and find the family without knowing what we call it. Send the photo if you would rather not guess.
The families
Marble look: mostly 600x1200mm (older pages call it 60x120cm), full polished, for walls and floors. White, Carrara, grey, beige, gold, green, blue, dark brown and black.
Wood look: 200x1200mm, matt.
Stone and slab looks: sintered stone slabs such as Panda White and Black Marquina. These are a different product from the 600x1200mm tiles, even when the pattern is similar.
Rustic, natural edge: non-rectified, cushion-edge and pressed-edge.
Patterned and decorative: blue and yellow small wall tiles in 152x152mm and 61.5x188.5mm, plus fabric-pattern designs.
Subway: 100x100mm decorative ceramics.
Full body marble and terrazzo: including the black tile with a terrazzo pattern.
Stair steps in 470x1200mm sit outside these families. So does clearance stock: when a design is discontinued it moves there. Ask what is still available before a specification gets built around a photo of something we no longer run.
Sizes do not carry over
The factory range runs from 300x300mm to 1600x3200mm. That is our span, not a promise that every pattern exists in every size. A marble vein cut at 600x1200mm may never have been run as a slab. Ask which formats the model comes in before you put it into a tender.
Two things before a container
Put the sample on the floor in daylight, not on a desk under showroom lights. Polished white reads cooler under one than the other. Then keep the approved sample with the model, size, finish and shade code written into the order, so a repeat container has something to match. Our own Foshan factory works to that sample.
Send us a photo, the size and your port. We will tell you which family it belongs to, what is available in that size, and come back with an FOB quote and a sample arrangement within 24 hours. Free samples are available with freight collect or prepaid, looks can be mixed in one container, and our team handles the CO and CM paperwork.
